Our Dental Surgeon – Anh Ky To (Bob) BDS, MFGDP, RCS (England)

Bob To, (Anh Ky To), who runs the practice, graduated from the University of Birmingham’s Dental School in 1998, having achieved a scholarship. He went on to complete his MFGDP (Membership of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners).

Never one to let the grass grow under his feet, Bob’s continual attendance at both national and international postgraduate courses, means he keeps abreast of the latest cutting edge dental treatments. Familiarising himself with the latest advancements in both general and restorative dentistry ensures his patients receive the best possible treatments available. The long term care of his patients is at the heart of everything he does.

Bob’s particular passion is cosmetic and restorative dentistry. Improving his patients’ smiles gives him immense personal and professional satisfaction.

Outside the field of dentistry, Bob loves playing a wide variety of sports including tennis, badminton and snowboarding. Some of his activities have had to be curtailed recently, however, following the birth of his son in June 2007.

Our Hygienists – Julia Droney and Jo Pritchard

Julia, who has worked as a fully qualified dental hygienist for five years, takes a particular interest in working with young children and adults who may be anxious about their dental treatment. Her forte is putting her patients at their ease.

Julia qualified with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene and Therapy from the world-renowned Eastman Dental Hospital in London.

She is married to Sean and has a daughter, Tiger, 6, and son Patrick, 3. Most of her holidays are spent in her native Bulgaria with her family. As an avid reader, she always takes plenty of books along with her!

Our Dental Nurse – Melody Yen

Originally from California, Melody joined Deepfield Dental Surgery in October 2007.

Melody, who has a BA in Business, is keen to increase her knowledge of the practice and its workings.

She very much enjoys being part of Deepfield’s friendly, caring team but outside working hours she enjoys golf, physical fitness and family.
